Simple Brand Face Cleaning Product demos!

I received both Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes and Simple Micellar Cleansing Water courtesy of Influenster to try and review. Though I received these samples complimentary for testing purposes, all opinions are my own.

I had my makeup done today for a photo shoot, so it's really caked on there. I removed my false lashes prior to trying the face cleanser.

Simple Micellar Cleansing Water

I cleaned the right side of my face with the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water. I used about half of the sample on 4 cotton pads. I have to admit, for as much makeup I had on my face, it did a really good job cleaning most of it off. It still left behind some eyeliner and mascara. I'm not sure if that is because I didn't wipe my eyes enough or the eyeliner and mascara were just hard to remove. It has no fragrance, and didn't make my skin tingle or anything (not that it's supposed to). I'm sure it will do a great job when I have on a normal amount of makeup. It left my skin feeling clean and didn't feel like there was something left behind; like an oil or lotion like other cleansing wipes to (different brand).
5/5, I recommend this product.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

I cleaned the left side of my face with Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. They have a slight witch hazel fragrance, but it's not strong or overpowering. I prefer cleansing wipes because I'm lazy and they are simple to use. I only had to use one wipe to remove the makeup. I would have to use two to take off all the makeup I had on, but I only did half my face. Needless to say, I was impressed with how much it removed with just 1 wipe. Like the Cleansing Water, I'm sure 1 wipe would be more than enough to clean off a normal amount of makeup. The wipe removed my eyeliner and mascara a bit better than the Cleansing Water, but I feel that is because I was able to get closer and rub better than with a cotton pad. It's also possible I didn't use enough Cleansing Water to clean my eyes. The wipe also cleaned off a bit more makeup from the right side of my face what I didn't clean from the Cleansing Water. Again, I'm sure if I used more of the product, it would have cleaned better. These wipes left my skin feeling clean and didn't leave behind a residue feeling like other wipes (different brand). The wipe did struggle a little bit removing eyelash glue.
5/5, I recommend this product.

TRESemmé Expert Selection Steps: 1 & 2

I have been trying TRESemmé Expert Selection Steps: 1 & 2 #ReverseYourRoutine courtesy of Influenster and TRESemmé for a couple weeks now. I have to admit, I thought it was weird to condition my hair first. It leaves my hair soft and shiny, but I don't like the scent of the shampoo. It smells like mildew to me. I feel it leaves my hair flat and has no body. I have very fine hair to begin with, so having something either weigh down my hair or leave it body-less is a bummer for me. I will continue to use the testers I received, and compare them to other shampoo and conditioner.

I received this product free for testing purposes, but all opinions are my own.

Revitalift Volume Filler System

I have used the Revitalift system every day for a few weeks now. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth. It has a light perfume fragrance to it which can be nice, but can be a bit intense if you are sensitive to perfumes (my mom couldn't use the system and had to wash it off after a few minutes because of the fragrance, though I find it pleasant). I did not notice a decrease in wrinkles, acne, or dark circles. It's a nice moisturizer though. I have very oily skin, but this did not cause me to become more oily. It's very light feeling and doesn't make me feel like I've caked on product. I would prefer this product to come in a squeeze container instead of a pot - personal preference. I received the Revitalift system for free to sample and try, though all opinions are my own.
